Conférencière :
Sévérine Derbré (Université Angers) est l’invitée de la professeure Marie-France Beauchesne dans le cadre des séminaires de l’axe « Médicament et santé des populations » de la Faculté de pharmacie.
Séverine Derbré (PharmD, PhD 2006) is an assistant professor in Pharmacognosy (Univ. Angers) since 2007. She carries out her research in EA921 SONAS (Head: Pr. Richomme). Her fields of interest relate to natural products (NPs) chemistry (purification/dereplication processes) and biological activities with special focus on bio-active NPs from tropical endemic Clusiaceae and Calophyllaceae plants and chemically engineered extracts from more available plants (Hypericaceae). She supervised 6 PhD theses and 8 master2 students. She coordinates PANASIA (BioAsie 2016-2017, MAEDI) and HYPROTEC (2013-2017, Région Pays de la Loire) projects. She has 32 publications (11 as first or last author) and 1 patent. In 2016, she received a prize from the Phytochemical Society of Europe for her work on chemically engineered extracts of St John’s Wort, in collaboration with Dr B. Charreau.
Current research interests
- Bioguided purification of natural products from Calophyllaceae and Clusiaceae families
- Prenylated polyphenols dereplication using LC-MS2 (Molecular networking) and 13C / 2D NMR
- Chemical engineering on vegetal extracts to increase chemical diversity
- Advanced glycation end-products inhibitors able to prevent endothelial dysfunction
- Chemical engineering: probes conception and (hemi)-synthesis from natural and synthetic products
Bienvenue à tous!
