Three works for solo piano evoking images of nature, love, and loss. Featuring Bach’s First Partita in B Flat Major, Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 31 No. 3 (‘The Hunt’), and Brahms’ op. 118 Klavierstücke, dedicated to Clara Schumann.

Polina was born in Moscow, Russia and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance with Jimmy Brière at the University of Montréal. She has received the University of Montreal’s Bourse d’excellence along with scholarships to study at the Orford Arts Centre in Quebec and Domaine Forget. In 2014 , she was a finalist for Montreal’s “Bourse Kaleidoscope” and received 3 rd prize in the Sorel Maison de La Musique Competition in the under 25 category. She performs regularly ...in both Montreal and Florida as both a soloist and collaborative pianist. Polina was the pianist for Massenet’s Cendrillon at the 2015 Halifax Summer Opera Festival. Most recently, she
performed in the Ottawa series ‘Concerts in the Glebe’ and in the Montreal series ‘Les Soirées Lyriques’ for singers and pianists.

Polina Gubnitskaia est née à Moscou est elle a complétée son Baccalauréat en interprétation piano à l'Université de Montréal avec Jimmy Brière. Elle était finaliste dans le concours “Bourse
Kaleidoscope” dans l’ann ée 2013 et a gagné le troisième prix dans son catégorie au concours de La Maison de La Musique à Sorel. Musicienne de talent, Polina Gubnitskaia joue souvent comme soliste et chambriste aux États-Unis et au Québec. E lle est allée travailler pour le Festival d’Opéra à Halifax comme pianiste-répétiteur en été 2015. Plus récemment, elle a joué dans la série ‘Concerts in the Glebe’ à Ottawa et ‘Les Soirées Lyriques’ à Montréal.
